Team Biographies and Qualifications

Jimmy Sawyers, Member of the LLC

Jimmy Sawyers' twenty-five years of experience in the information technology field includes directing the operations and technology division of a community bank where at age 21, he became one of the youngest officers in the history of his 100-year old bank. In addition to his nine years as a banker, he has been a consultant to the financial services industry for over 16 years. Jimmy is a graduate of Christian Brothers University in Memphis, Tennessee, with a B.S. in Business and a concentration in Information Technology Management and Telecommunications. Jimmy is on the faculty of the Barret School of Banking (formerly Mid South School of Banking) and the Southeastern School of Banking at Vanderbilt University. Active in the industry as a speaker, author and teacher, Jimmy is a frequent contributor to BankersOnline, a leading Web portal for bankers, and he is the author of the book, IT Auditing for Financial Institutions.

Nationally recognized for his entertaining presentations that engage, inform, and educate, Jimmy delivers practical advice and a fresh perspective to complex issues.

Jimmy, his wife Cindy, and their three children, live in Collierville, Tennessee.


Joshua Jacobs, Member of the LLC

Joshua has ten years of experience providing information technology services and solutions focusing on financial institutions. He is a graduate of Christian Brothers University with a Master of Business Administration (MBA), a B.S. in Business Administration with a concentration in Information Technology Management, and an Executive Certificate in Project Management. He holds numerous IT certifications including the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP), Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE), Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA), and Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP). Joshua is the co-author of the SSCP Study Guide and DVD Training System and specializes in network design and support as well as security testing and assurance services.

Joshua, his wife Mary, and their four children, live in Collierville, Tennessee.


Shane Daniel, Vice President

Shane Daniel is a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified in the Governance of Enterprise IT (CGEIT) and a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) specializing in risk management, information technology audits, business continuity planning, compliance management, information security, and internal audit outsourcing. He is a graduate of Christian Brothers University in Memphis, Tennessee, with a B.S. in Accounting. A former community bank internal auditor and compliance officer, Shane has over 18 years of experience helping financial institutions manage risk and profitability.

Shane, his wife Michele, and their two children, live in Bartlett, Tennessee.


Kristin McNeish, Consultant

Kristin McNeish is a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) and a former banker who understands the unique environments of our clients. A graduate of the University of Southern Indiana with a B.S. in Computer Information Systems, Kristin McNeish has seven years of banking experience having worked in various departments of a multi-billion asset super community bank. Kristin combines a strong technology background with a keen understanding of the financial services industry.


Kris Kirby, Technology Consultant

Kris Kirby has over 10 years of experience in the information technology industry. A former engineer for Qualcomm at their San Diego network operations center, Kris is adept at solving complex network issues with a personal touch. His certifications include EC-Council's Certified Ethical Hacker, Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), as well as CompTIA's A+, Network+, and i-net+. Kris helps clients with projects ranging from wireless design and installation to security assessments. Comfortable working in small or large network environments, Kris ensures client networks are secure, reliable, and operating effectively.


David Joyner, Technology Consultant

David Joyner has 20 years of IT experience with 10 of those years as a banker, most recently with a community bank as their VP/Senior Technology Officer. At the bank, David was responsible for all aspects of technology functions including personnel, deposit operations, purchasing, budgets, planning, contracts, policies, procedures and telecom systems. He is a past officer and board member of the Harland/Sparak Users' Group. David has extensive experience in network management having worked with multiple platforms and applications. David is a graduate of the University of Memphis with a B.S. in Computer Systems Engineering Technology.

David, his wife Leslie, and their three children, live in Eads, Tennessee.


Drew Fleming, Associate Consultant

Drew Fleming is a former community banker who performed Remote Deposit Capture (RDC) installs in addition to Internet banking customer service, new technology evaluation, and network support. He has attended the Barret School of Banking and he currently attends the University of Memphis where he is majoring in Communication. Drew helps our clients with RDC installs and network support.
